December 2010
Why am I perusing graduate school applications now?  It’s at least 3 years away and I have so much to accomplish between now and then, and yet I can’t stop thinking about it.  So many MFA directing programs won’t take you unless you have at least two years professional experience.  Where do I even begin?   I need to stop.  This is bad for my mental health.  Oh well, at least it...

Day 22- Do you play a sport? If not, talk about a...
I am not coordinated enough for sports and stage combat definitely doesn’t count.  My hobby is cooking and baking.  I take a lot of pride in the fact that I’m capable of cooking a full meal without destroying any of it.  I find cooking therapeutic.  It clears my head.

Days 20 and 21
Day 20- Do you wear glasses? What are they for? I wear glasses for my terrible near-sightedness.  I blame my Mom on this one. Day 21- Your favorite subject to study? Saying theatre is too easy, so besides that, it would probably be history.  And I have to credit my teachers on this one.  I had a long line of fantastic history teachers all the way from elementary school through university who...

Day 16- Your favorite Disney Princess movie
Easy question.  It’s ”Beauty and the Beast” any day, every day.  I have always felt that Beauty and the Beast is one of the most romantic stories ever told.  I also think Belle is a total badass, and she is easily my favorite Disney princess.  She’s clever, self-sufficient, and loves a good book.  I like that she falls in love with the Beast/Prince Adam based on his...

Day 15
Day 15- Talk about your favorite junk food It seems almost wrong to be talking about junk food when I can smell my Dad’s epic Thanksgiving dinner in it’s early stages of preparation downstairs.  However, I am incredibly fond of all forms of candy, especially British chocolates.  If I have to pick one, it would be Crunchies: a candy that has a honeycomb center and is covered in milk...

Day 12- My Thoughts and Opinions on Harry Potter
I know I’m hopelessly out of order.  I’ll be back on track after tomorrow, I promise. It’s difficult to know where to begin with Harry Potter.  It wouldn’t be an over-exaggeration to say that those books probably saved my life.  I started reading the books when I was in fifth grade.  I was eleven, the same age as Harry, and I was just beginning to realize that I...

Days 11 and 13
So, Day 12 is my thoughts on Harry Potter, but that needs it’s own post.  Here we go with the rest: Day 11: My top three favorite bands. 1. I know it’s incredibly cliche, but honestly, The Beatles.  I do believe that John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison were three of the greatest composers of the 20th century.  They wrote iconic music that I’m pretty sure...

Day 7- How I discovered tumblr and what I have learned since joining I discovered tumblr when I found the website shitmykidsruined.com. I can’t say I’ve gained anything from this site other than a new and exciting way to avoid my math homework. Day 8- Am I a couch potato or a fitness guru The silliness continues. I’m a couch potato. Day Six- My Favorite Season
It’s probably a tie between fall and spring.  I love the transition into extremes; the temperature is always perfect.  Everything looks fucking beautiful.  There are so many colors that happen in fall and spring that you just don’t get to see at any other time.  They are both also fleeting seasons with a lot of drama packed in.  I kind of love that.
