To learn the rest of my lines, but I have been distracted by recipes I keep finding online and the raucous game of Settlers of Catan I just finished playing with my dad and brother. Anyways, my Macbeth scene is learned, I’ve started working on Midsummer, and then I have to learn King Lear. Midsummer will be the biggest hurdle, because it’s new text to me. I’m really just...

Memorizing Shakespeare all day is making my brain itch. Getting my mind and mouth around the words has been a lot harder. It’s been far too long since I’ve actually acted in any of his plays. It’s a muscle I haven’t stretched in a while. I think this break is going to be very much about working out: working out my physical body, working out my Shakespeare muscles, and...

Russell Brand delivers a spontaneous back story for his character, Trinculo, in The Tempest. My respect for this man just skyrocketed.

My math final is tomorrow
So in order to preserve my sanity while I study, I’m having a Jane Austen marathon. It’s necessary.

I need to stop watching No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. My mild wanderlust is now spiraling completely out of control. It’s making it impossible to imagine staying in New York another week.
Shakespeare Paintings by John Link
magiccircletheater:
Last night, while I was searching through images of Richard III, I came across these beautiful paintings of Shakespeare’s characters by John Link. Here are a few of my favorites:
Hamlet and Old Hamlet
Feste
Imogen
Malvolio
Ophelia
Sir Andrew Aguecheek
King Lear
Viola and Sebastian
And of course, Richard III
You can see all of the paintings here.

“Though Harry’s adventures may be over, you’ll get to learn more about his parents, James and Lily, in this new series coming from authoress JK Rowling. While the details are still foggy, it appears it will detail the adventures of Harry’s parents, as well as Severus Snape, and other members of the Potter gang. Said...

Day 24- Tell us about the last movie you saw in...
The last movie I saw in theatres was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One. As I said in my Day 12 post, I absolutely loved it. I am not ashamed to admit that I cried more than once or that I have already seen it twice. I feel like it’s the only movie that has lived up to the book thus far and I am pumped for Part Two.

Day 23- Your opinions on Lady Gaga
I kind of don’t have a strong opinion on Lady Gaga, which is odd for me. I used to think she was full of shit, but on closer reflection, I think she has a good voice. However, I feel like her songs are over produced. So, I generally prefer the acoustic versions of her songs.
And I’d be lying if I said I don’t enjoy Bad Romance
