Tennessee wants to remove slavery from their history books because they don't want to give their founding fathers a bad reputation.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I’ve always felt that the Tea Party was basically a thinly veiled, pathetic excuse for being really racist. And this proves it:
No portrayal of minority experience in the history which actually occurred shall obscure the experience or contributions of the Founding Fathers, or the majority of citizens, including those who reached positions of leadership.
Well, guess what assholes, WHITE PEOPLE ARE THE MINORITY NOW. And remember that “socialist” president you keep railing against? Well, you should know that the last society that sanitized their history was STALINIST RUSSIA.
And the saddest part about this is that it might even pass. Similar things passed in Texas and the Tuscon, Arizona school district.
