Monkey Chatter of the Mind
Ahoy! I'm Becca, and these are the inane ramblings and discoveries of a twenty something South African Jewish Director/Actor/Professional Bunburyist living and studying in New York. I am decidedly ENFJ, an Ally, very liberal, and am generally tolerant of everything besides willful ignorance. Occasionally, I wax rhapsodic about olives.

Brave fun fact!

Did you know that Queen Elinor’s dress was inspired by the dress worn by actress Ellen Terry for the stage play of MacBeth in 1889? It made such an impression on John Singer Sargent that he immediately painted the striking actress!

The dress had over 1000 irridescent beetle wings sewn onto it and was recently restored!

Russell: That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most.

I love dogs!

“I was hiding under your porch because I love you.” is my favorite line in this movie.

Django: Take a good long look, Remy. This is what happens when a rat gets a little too uncomfortable around humans. The world we live in belongs to the enemy, we must live carefully. We look out for our own kind, Remy. When all is said and done, we’re all we’ve got. Remy: No. Django: What? Remy: No. Dad I don’t believe it. You’re telling me that the future is - can only be more of this? Django: This is the way things are. You can’t change nature. Remy: Change is nature, Dad. The part that we can influence. And it starts when we decide. Django: Where are you going? Remy: With luck, forward.
